i steal from 4 year olds

i stole something today. i have been subbing for a woman that works with the pre-kindergarten class at the school for the past week now. and i couldn't help but notice how damned cute the pictures were that the kids would draw. anyways, today i saw one of the boys throw the greatest drawing in the trash. my immediate thought was to secretly get it out and put it in my bag. and of course, i did. well if any of you know my luck then you know that the other teacher found that this particular picture was missing. she asked him where he put it and he said the trash. but only i knew the truth, it was hidden in my bag. i didn't know what to do. but there was no way i was going to fess up to my shameful act. all i said was, weird! i remember seeing it in the trash... i'm glad we didn't linger on the missing picture for very long because i don't know what would've come of it. school ended and i walked out with this:
